Student Employment
Employees are not allowed to work (including training meetings or overview meetings) until they have received and Authorized to Work email from our office. If you are not able to clock in but have received an Authorized to Work email, please keep track of any hours worked and submit a Timecard Correction with the days and times. Once you've completed the online training, your supervisor will receive an email confirming you are authorized to begin working.
- If you haven't worked on campus before, you will need to fill out an I-9 form, set up Direct Deposit, and verify your SSN at Student Employment (2024 WSC).
- Once the Student Employment requirements are met, you will receive an email with instructions to complete the required online safety and FERPA training.
All changes must be submitted BEFORE the end of the pay period. (see Pay Period Schedule for dates)
You should expect an Adobe Sign document sent to your BYU Student Email Address. Your professor or supervisor will select the rooms they are granting you access to and the expiration date. The Dean’s Office limits access to one academic year, so you will need to reapply for access each year.
