Scheduling Instructions
In order to use the Manual Machining Equipment during Open Hours, you must have completed, or be enrolled in, MFGEN 220 or ME EN 382. No exceptions to this rule.
All appointments must be scheduled at least two (2) hours in advance. You must have an appointment in order to enter the lab.
You can schedule time for consultation regarding CNC Machining, Sheet Metal, Surface Grinding, Wire EDM, Water Jet and Welding/Casting projects without any prior experience. The Lab Supervisor or TA will perform the operation for you in most cases.
No more than one person, per project or consultation may enter 101 CTB, and that individual must follow all safety and COVID-19 procedures posted on the door to the lab. Anyone found not complying with the lab safety/COVID-19 procedures will be asked to leave the lab and all future use will be revoked.
You will need to wait outside the door to 101 CTB, at your scheduled time for the TA to let you enter.
